What extras are on your December calendar? Our calendar is already full with Awana, speech therapy, and swim lessons, but like you we are trying to see how much more we can squeeze in! Yikes!
We're hoping for a 600 mile road trip to see my family and at least one day of celebrating Christmas with hopefully at least half of Jim's family.
LG has a $5 white elephant exchange at Awana and a roller skating Christmas party with Trail Life. He also has an evaluation for Upward basketball plus walking in a Christmas parade!
LM is out of this world excited about her 2 hour Saturday morning cheer clinic. :) And she's participating in the K-2 music program at our grade school.
High school madrigals and church Christmas concert are the only musical events that are solidly on our calendar.
I'm signed up to take treats to Sunday School one morning, lead a Zoom prayer meeting for Japan one day, and attend our church's ladies' tea. And, of course, take everyone to all their appointments & events. :)
LG has a 3-hour annual testing 65 miles away (as part of a longitudinal study on the effects of LSL - Listening & Spoken Language - Early Intervention in children who are deaf or hard of hearing). Both children have eye appointments, and I have monthly labs and a hair appointment. We'll see if we can find time to do my monthly infusion. Sigh!!
As of late November, our January calendar already has 6 doctor's appointments, our first-ever friends' birthday party, two Trail Life outings, and one concert.
