Not quite on a par with a resurrection

Our mission in Japan recently was inspected by government officials as part of the process of moving our legal address from the city where mission work was established 60-odd years ago to the location of one of the current hubs of ministry.

Unless you have dealt with bureaucracy in a second language and in a country which loves, loves, LOVES stamps and seals and red tape and documents in duplicate and triplicate, and one which is not a Christian nation, it may be hard to realize the not a little bit of trepidation that accompanied this process.

God answered, and the on-site inspection and interview seemed favorable.

A former missionary who understands the situation wrote:

While this event is not quite on a par with a resurrection from the dead, God truly can do anything if he can move a religious organization's office.

And so we praise God for His mighty power ~ even in address changes!
