It's often said that you can set your clock by the trains in Japan. If the train is going to leave the station at 8.52, it will leave at 8.52.
In my apartment complex, you can set your clock by the garbage truck. Garbage is supposed to be set out by 8 AM. Every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday at 8 AM sharp, I hear the garbage truck!
