Were there any books under your Christmas tree? It was a sparse book Christmas for us, as we're trying to be intentional to limit the books we add to our already groaning (& full of yet-unread books) shelves!
LM received the Children's Christmas Collection Box Set published by 10ofthose from her Awana group.
Jim received Eric Liddell's "The Disciplines of the Christian Life."
And I received Paul Tripp's "Everyday Gospel."
BK received "The Complete Cookbook for Young Chefs" by America's Test Kitchen.
Which one will we benefit from the most?! :)
Jim highly recommends Liddell's book. LM enjoyed the Christmas books (they're the perfect size for her, though they are British, so sometimes the vocab is different). I'm trying to keep up with our church's Bible reading plan this year, so "Everyday Gospel" has taken a backseat at the moment. So far, we've all been reaping the benefits of BK's book the most!!
