Maybe what I like best about these stories is that it shows our heavenly Father's fatherly care for us...
A teammate wrote a prayer letter several years ago in which she told the story of teaching marine biology at the missionary kid school. Although she had taught biology, chemistry, and physics, that was her first year to teach marine biology. She confessed that when it came to dissection, she was a bit nervous. They made it through the first two, but then came the miniature shark. She just wasn't sure she could give her student a good dissection experience.
But God! On that day, teammate R's sister who "just so happened" to be visiting from California, came by the school to see it. She has her Ph.D. in marine biology (!) and was THRILLED to lead the dissection, as she'd never had the opportunity to dissect that particular specimen. The student, of course, was happy, too.
My teammate was overwhelmed with God's fatherly care for her, caring even for a shark dissection by one student in a 24-student missionary kid school!
She hadn't even prayed for a Ph.D. marine biologist to come and help her, but God provided!
How have you seen God provide lately?
