In college I took a 400-level Urban Geography class, in which a guest speaker told us of a new world, where we wouldn't go to the bank (we'd do it from home on a computer), we wouldn't go to the grocery store (we'd order it on a computer at home and it would be delivered), etc.
I (and all my classmates) sat incredulous in the class, wondering what planet this speaker was from.
Welcome to 2019, except we don't do it on a computer, but on our phones!
Despite my being an introvert, and being happy to avoid unnecessary interactions with people, I appreciated this article: "I Miss Talking To Strangers".
