435. previewing our church's suggested Advent devotional last night (Unwrapping the Names of Jesus) and all the free resources available online to use with it (you could save the cost of buying the book and just download the family guide by giving your email on the website; I'm also looking forward to using the journaling/ prayer sheets for various names of Jesus)
436. Thanksgiving to-go dinners from a church in town last night for our supper
437. the sense of community as we ran into several people we know while picking up our meals (the retired kindergarten teacher who now does Storytime at the Library and spoke to LM, our friend's mom whom LM hugged tightly, a lady on our street who updated us on her elderly mom)
438. Ninja Kids is returning! The 6-week session at a local gym was so popular that they are offering another 6-week session (and hopefully continuing throughout the winter).
439. anticipation of the children bringing home their Art to Remember orders today (their art turned into a necklace)
440. learning that a $2 plastic tablecloth from Walmart works just as well at keeping our table covered (& is better at handling spills)
