While on a personal retreat a few weeks ago, and grappling with issues related to my less-than-faith-filled response to my particular personality and physiology, one afternoon I walked through the town. This photo was taken in front of a trick art museum there. Later, while continuing the book I was reading, I came to this quote and reference to Psalm 139.13-18 and was encouraged, as I hope you will be.
"God thought about me - about all the days of my life, about the particulars of my personality ("my inmost being") and physiology ("my unformed body"), while I was still in the womb. I am at least as important to God as the Mona Lisa was to Leonardo da Vinci - a great work of art arising from his creative genius."~A Journey Worth Taking: Finding Your Purpose in This World, p.52
