I was showered with love by the ladies of the churches in my presbytery (and beyond). Their warmth and love which has encouraged me for the past 21 years during which I have been one of their missionaries will continue to warm my heart and encourage me in the next chapter of my life.
This quilt actually represents less than half of the quilt squares which were assembled for this project. Most of the other squares will be in another quilt, which is currently being quilted. The squares in the quilt pictured above were sent in after the squares for the first quilt had already been collected. A lady in my home church made this quilt (using the second batch of squares) as her gift to me ~ in four weeks!!! ~ and with absolutely beautiful hand-stitching.
