Day off

If I'm doing any of the following, it must be Monday:

• searching the internet for children's books and then searching the online card catalog of a library 6,000 odd miles away and sending matches to my nieces,

• making a Costco run,

• getting my haircut,

• getting the oil changed in my car,

• planting tulip bulbs,

• getting prescription refills,

• visiting the laundromat in order to dry more than one load of laundry in a single day, or

• hibernating (the result of an introvert living an extrovert's life).
