White Day

February 14th was Valentine's Day, and in Japan, the girls gave chocolate to the guys.

And so, in a culture, where duty and obligation reign, it seems that the chocolate companies created an appropriate holiday on which the guys can return the gift.

As soon as the Valentine's displays are taken down in the stores, the White Day displays go up. On this day, March 14th, the girls who gave chocolate on February 14th will receive giri-choco, or obligation chocolate.
