I'm a big fan of instrumental music, preferably music to which I know the words, so I can "think" along with the music.
A new CD of instrumental arrangements of the most popular songs of my favorite Japanese Christian group has just come out.
Listening to these songs on violin, cello and piano is the first time I have listened to non-classical instrumental music to which there are no English words. So, as I listen ... and listen ... and listen (I'm rather addicted), if any words come to mind, they are in Japanese.
It's such a new experience, I'm not sure how to process it!
But I cannot imagine how David's music played for Saul could have been any more soothing or beautiful.
