Rest means freedom from x, y, or z. For me the past few days, I think rest would include freedom from wind.
Freedom from...
... fighting against the wind to force the car door open
... fighting against the wind to keep the car door from blowing out of my hand's grip and into the next car, when I open it
... fighting to keep my umbrella straight up
... a bruised face from fighting with my umbrella
... walking into the wind as I try to make progress in moving forward
... the seemingly incessant sound of the wind howling through the trees near the park
... the whining of the wind as it blows through the 5 and 13 story apartment buildings in my complex and the next one
... having trouble falling asleep as the wind rattles the windows
... waking up to the windows rattling in the wind.
In the past 24 hours the lightest average hourly wind speed we've had has been 13 mph. The strongest has been 29.
The wind brings some beauty as well:
... the reeds in the middle of the pond perpetually bent over (praising the One Who both created the wind and calms it?), and
... the tall bamboo trees waving back and forth and back and forth.
What would rest mean for you right now?

Rest right now would mean a change of pace from the grind of my most challenging (behaviorally) class this semester.
