More public transportation jaunts (?challenges?) await us today, but they lead to ... family! The cousin who spent his high school and college Christmas vacations in my childhood home has been in Japan 20-some years with his family. Today I look forward to Jim's getting to see where I spent most of my Japan Christmases!
Visiting, seeing their ministry location, after-school stories from the boys, dinner together, and then a late-night train ride 2 1/2 hours back to our "home base" is the plan. Once again, no doubt we'll need flexibility and grace as we deal with logistics, and our prayer as always is mutual encouragement and enlarged vision.
