If you pray ...
This morning we're looking forward to worshiping with the local body of believers with whom I spent my last several years in Japan. We may be called on to give a testimony; if so, we will need wisdom. After worship, a luncheon is planned in our honor. We do not like to be in the limelight, and trust that the ultimate honor will go to Christ. We'd appreciate your praying that we will honor Him in how we speak and interact today.
The church's prayer is that many of my former students and friends will come today. Again, we desire that the local church will be able to follow-up on these relationships.
Japanese friends have invited us to their home for dinner tonight. We are so very thankful for this opportunity and are looking forward to fellowship with the wife and adult daughter and to opportunities to share the love of Christ with the husband.
