Jim worked until 11 or 11.30 Saturday night working ground.
Thank the Lord for Sabbath rest!
Monday morning he left at 4 or 4.30 (I was asleep) to get more ground under his belt. Rain is coming, and farmers are itching to get seed in the ground. Another farmer's wife north of us posted a similar story of her farmers' Saturday & Monday schedule.
So we had division of labor Sunday evening. He brought his lunch cooler in from the garage and cleaned it. And put a few water bottles in the freezer to freeze. And I packed a lunch & supper.
What would you want in your lunchbox if you were in a tractor all day?
