I would like to bottle up the 4:30 PM breeze by the lake, the children playing happily in the water with newfound friends, the sound of the water lapping the shore, and the pleasure of sitting in a chair in the shade reading whatever Mitford book was in my beach bag.
It doesn’t hurt that supper is provided by the hotdog stand, so there’s no food to prepare and no mess to clean up!
