Day 36 ~ Thursday, June 29th
Everyone slept in this morning. BK went to the farm. LM and I went to her swim lessons, and then saw Grandpa & Grandma and went through the bank drive-through to purchase discounted advance tickets for the carnival in their town next week.
Just as Jim and BK drove in the garage, we had a powerful blast of wind and the start of a thunderstorm, which was upgraded to a derecho. We are soooooo very thankful for rain AND that we were spared some of the devastating damage!
I forget what we did in the afternoon, but shortly after 4 we headed out to BK's second swim meet, a dual. He competed in the 25 free, 50 free, 25 back, 200 medley relay and 100 free relay. Both relay teams earned ribbons - a 1st and a 3rd!
Everyone was ready for bed by the time we pulled into the garage!
