So, it would appear I have fallen off the 1000 Gifts bandwagon, and that probably has hurt my perspective, and the joy that others sense when they are with me.
In the spirit of New Year's resolutions, I'll post one this week, though #141-148 were actually written in early December and never published.

143. worshipful worship at the church we attended
144. time with family
145. time in the car to make our list and check it twice
146. time this evening to sit and take stock

149. time with both of our families over Christmas
150. enjoying Christmas Eve service at the church where we were married
151. driving through an extensive neighborhood where the streets were lined with luminarios
152. friends who reach out at just the right time
153. a morning breakfast at Waffle House :) {with a special person}
154. an afternoon treat at Sweet Cece's {with special people}
155. an evening meal at Olive Garden {with special people}
156. time ~ and grace ~ to take a nap on the day of Jim's family's Christmas celebration
157. a few hours with a sister-in-law and niece who live far away
158. reliving a Christmas memory of stockings!
159. safety and great driving conditions for 1200 miles
160. the Spirit speaking to me through a "random" New Year's Day service we attended (Hebrews 12.1-3 followed by communion)
