Bright flashes of lightning, loud claps of thunder, and the pounding of rain woke me up at 4.30 this morning. I was surprised to see that the flashes of lightning were not set against a dark sky.
It was already light outside! Today's sunset and sunrise were 4.22 AM and 6.44 PM. That's about thirty minutes earlier than Tokyo.
